Although a pleasant enough romance, this second book in the series (after Prairie Rose, LJ 9/1/97) is saddled with two fairly lackluster leads, making this book nowhere near as memorable or charming as the first. Still, fans of that book will certainly want the second in the series. Libraries should purchase accordingly.
